Surah Yusuf · Ayah 8

Iz qaaloo la Yoosufu wa akhoohu ahabbu ilaaa Abeenaa minnaa wa nahnu 'usbah; inna abaanaa lafee dalaalim mubeen

“When they said: Verily Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we are, many though we be. Lo! our father is in plain aberration.”

“They said: "Truly Joseph and his brother are loved more by our father than we: But we are a goodly body! really our father is obviously wandering (in his mind)!”

“When they said, "Joseph and his brother are more beloved to our father than we, while we are a clan. Indeed, our father is in clear error.”

“যখন তারা বললঃ অবশ্যই ইউসুফ ও তাঁর ভাই আমাদের পিতার কাছে আমাদের চাইতে অধিক প্রিয় অথচ আমরা একটা সংহত শক্তি বিশেষ। নিশ্চয় আমাদের পিতা স্পষ্ট ভ্রান্তিতে রয়েছেন।”

“جب انہوں نے (آپس میں) تذکرہ کیا کہ یوسف اور اس کا بھائی ابا کو ہم سے زیادہ پیارے ہیں حالانکہ ہم جماعت (کی جماعت) ہیں۔ کچھ شک نہیں کہ ابا صریح غلطی پر ہیں”
