Surah Al-Baqarah · Ayah 11

Wa izaa qeela lahum laa tufsidoo fil ardi qaalo innamaa nahnu muslihoon

“And when it is said unto them: Make not mischief in the earth, they say: We are peacemakers only.”

“When it is said to them: "Make not mischief on the earth," they say: "Why, we only Want to make peace!"”

“And when it is said to them, "Do not cause corruption on the earth," they say, "We are but reformers."”

“আর যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয় যে, দুনিয়ার বুকে দাঙ্গা-হাঙ্গামা সৃষ্টি করো না, তখন তারা বলে, আমরা তো মীমাংসার পথ অবলম্বন করেছি।”

“اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ زمین میں فساد نہ ڈالو تو کہتے ہیں، ہم تو اصلاح کرنے والے ہیں”
