Surah Al-Baqarah · Ayah 44

“Enjoin ye righteousness upon mankind while ye yourselves forget (to practise it)? And ye are readers of the Scripture! Have ye then no sense?”

“Do ye enjoin right conduct on the people, and forget (To practise it) yourselves, and yet ye study the Scripture? Will ye not understand?”

“Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason?”

“তোমরা কি মানুষকে সৎকর্মের নির্দেশ দাও এবং নিজেরা নিজেদেরকে ভূলে যাও, অথচ তোমরা কিতাব পাঠ কর? তবুও কি তোমরা চিন্তা কর না?”

“(یہ) کیا (عقل کی بات ہے کہ) تم لوگوں کو نیکی کرنے کو کہتے ہو اور اپنے تئیں فراموش کئے دیتے ہو، حالانکہ تم کتاب (خدا) بھی پڑھتے ہو۔ کیا تم سمجھتے نہیں؟”
