Surah Al-Muminun · Ayah 33

“And the chieftains of his folk, who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter, and whom We had made soft in the life of the world, said: This is only a mortal like you, who eateth of that whereof ye eat and drinketh of that ye drink.”

“And the chiefs of his people, who disbelieved and denied the Meeting in the Hereafter, and on whom We had bestowed the good things of this life, said: "He is no more than a man like yourselves: he eats of that of which ye eat, and drinks of what ye drink.”

“And the eminent among his people who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter while We had given them luxury in the worldly life said, "This is not but a man like yourselves. He eats of that from which you eat and drinks of what you drink.”

“তাঁর সম্প্রদায়ের প্রধানরা যারা কাফের ছিল, পরকালের সাক্ষাতকে মিথ্যা বলত এবং যাদেরকে আমি পার্থিব জীবনে সুখ-স্বাচ্ছন্দ্য দিয়েছিলাম, তারা বললঃ এতো আমাদের মতই একজন মানুষ বৈ নয়। তোমরা যা খাও, সেও তাই খায় এবং তোমরা যা পান কর, সেও তাই পান করে।”

“تو ان کی قوم کے سردار جو کافر تھے اور آخرت کے آنے کو جھوٹ سمجھتے تھے اور دنیا کی زندگی میں ہم نے ان کو آسودگی دے رکھی تھی۔ کہنے لگے کہ یہ تو تم ہی جیسا آدمی ہے، جس قسم کا کھانا تم کھاتے ہو، اسی طرح کا یہ بھی کھاتا ہے اور جو پانی تم پیتے ہو اسی قسم کا یہ بھی پیتا ہے”
