Surah Al-Furqan · Ayah 60

“And when it is said unto them: Prostrate to the Beneficent! they say: And what is the Beneficent? Are we to prostrate to whatever thou (Muhammad) biddest us? And it increaseth aversion in them.”

“When it is said to them, "Prostrate to (Allah) Most Gracious!", they say, "And what is (Allah) Most Gracious? Shall we prostrate to that which thou commandest us?" And it increases their flight (from the Truth).”

“And when it is said to them, "Prostrate to the Most Merciful," they say, "And what is the Most Merciful? Should we prostrate to that which you order us?" And it increases them in aversion.”

“তাদেরকে যখন বলা হয়, দয়াময়কে সেজদা কর, তখন তারা বলে, দয়াময় আবার কে? তুমি কাউকে সেজদা করার আদেশ করলেই কি আমরা সেজদা করব? এতে তাদের পলায়নপরতাই বৃদ্ধি পায়।”

“اور جب ان (کفار) سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ رحمٰن کو سجدہ کرو تو کہتے ہیں رحمٰن کیا؟ کیا جس کے لئے تم ہم سے کہتے ہو ہم اس کے آگے سجدہ کریں اور اس سے بدکتے ہیں”
