Surah Aal ʿImran · Ayah 127

“That He may cut off a part of those who disbelieve, or overwhelm them so that they retire, frustrated.”

“That He might cut off a fringe of the Unbelievers or expose them to infamy, and they should then be turned back, frustrated of their purpose.”

“That He might cut down a section of the disbelievers or suppress them so that they turn back disappointed.”

“যাতে ধবংস করে দেন কোন কোন কাফেরকে অথবা লাঞ্ছিত করে দেন-যেন ওরা বঞ্চিত হয়ে ফিরে যায়।”

“(یہ خدا نے) اس لیے (کیا) کہ کافروں کی ایک جماعت کو ہلاک یا انہیں ذلیل ومغلوب کر دے کہ (جیسے آئے تھے ویسے ہی) ناکام واپس جائیں”
