Surah Aal ʿImran · Ayah 181

“Verily Allah heard the saying of those who said, (when asked for contributions to the war): "Allah, forsooth, is poor, and we are rich!" We shall record their saying with their slaying of the prophets wrongfully and We shall say: Taste ye the punishment of burning!”

“Allah hath heard the taunt of those who say: "Truly, Allah is indigent and we are rich!"- We shall certainly record their word and (their act) of slaying the prophets in defiance of right, and We shall say: "Taste ye the penalty of the Scorching Fire!”

“Allah has certainly heard the statement of those [Jews] who said, "Indeed, Allah is poor, while we are rich." We will record what they said and their killing of the prophets without right and will say, "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire.”

“নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ তাদের কথা শুনেছেন, যারা বলেছে যে, আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন অভাবগ্রস্ত আর আমরা বিত্তবান! এখন আমি তাদের কথা এবং যেসব নবীকে তারা অন্যায়ভাবে হত্যা করেছে তা লিখে রাখব, অতঃপর বলব, আস্বাদন কর জ্বলন্ত আগুনের আযাব।”

“خدا نے ان لوگوں کا قول سن لیا ہے جو کہتے ہیں کہ خدا فقیر ہے۔ اور ہم امیر ہیں۔ یہ جو کہتے ہیں ہم اس کو لکھ لیں گے۔ اور پیغمبروں کو جو یہ ناحق قتل کرتے رہے ہیں اس کو بھی (قلمبند کر رکھیں گے) اور (قیامت کے روز) کہیں گے کہ عذاب (آتش) سوزاں کے مزے چکھتے رہو”
