Surah Aal ʿImran · Ayah 24

“That is because they say: The Fire will not touch us save for a certain number of days. That which they used to invent hath deceived them regarding their religion.”

“This because they say: "The Fire shall not touch us but for a few numbered days": For their forgeries deceive them as to their own religion.”

“That is because they say, "Never will the Fire touch us except for [a few] numbered days," and [because] they were deluded in their religion by what they were inventing.”

“তা এজন্য যে, তারা বলে থাকে যে, দোযখের আগুন আমাদের স্পর্শ করবে না; তবে সামান্য হাতে গোনা কয়েকদিনের জন্য স্পর্শ করতে পারে। নিজেদের উদ্ভাবিত ভিত্তিহীন কথায় তারা ধোকা খেয়েছে।”

“یہ اس لیے کہ یہ اس بات کے قائل ہیں کہ (دوزخ کی) آگ ہمیں چند روز کے سوا چھو ہی نہیں سکے گی اور جو کچھ یہ دین کے بارے میں بہتان باندھتے رہے ہیں اس نے ان کو دھوکے میں ڈال رکھا ہے”
