Surah Aal ʿImran · Ayah 44

“This is of the tidings of things hidden. We reveal it unto thee (Muhammad). Thou wast not present with them when they threw their pens (to know) which of them should be the guardian of Mary, nor wast thou present with them when they quarrelled (thereupon).”

“This is part of the tidings of the things unseen, which We reveal unto thee (O Messenger!) by inspiration: Thou wast not with them when they cast lots with arrows, as to which of them should be charged with the care of Mary: Nor wast thou with them when they disputed (the point).”

“That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal to you, [O Muhammad]. And you were not with them when they cast their pens as to which of them should be responsible for Mary. Nor were you with them when they disputed.”

“এ হলো গায়েবী সংবাদ, যা আমি আপনাকে পাঠিয়ে থাকি। আর আপনি তো তাদের কাছে ছিলেন না, যখন প্রতিযোগিতা করছিল যে, কে প্রতিপালন করবে মারইয়ামকে এবং আপনি তাদের কাছে ছিলেন না, যখন তারা ঝগড়া করছিলো।”

“(اے محمدﷺ) یہ باتیں اخبار غیب میں سے ہیں جو ہم تمہارے پاس بھیجتے ہیں اور جب وہ لوگ اپنے قلم (بطور قرعہ) ڈال رہے تھے کہ مریم کا متکفل کون بنے تو تم ان کے پاس نہیں تھے اور نہ اس وقت ہی ان کے پاس تھے جب وہ آپس میں جھگڑ رہے تھے”
