Surah Ar-Rum · Ayah 24

“And of His signs is this: He showeth you the lightning for a fear and for a hope, and sendeth down water from the sky, and thereby quickeneth the earth after her death. Lo! herein indeed are portents for folk who understand.”

“And among His Signs, He shows you the lightning, by way both of fear and of hope, and He sends down rain from the sky and with it gives life to the earth after it is dead: verily in that are Signs for those who are wise.”

“And of His signs is [that] He shows you the lightning [causing] fear and aspiration, and He sends down rain from the sky by which He brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed in that are signs for a people who use reason.”

“তাঁর আরও নিদর্শনঃ তিনি তোমাদেরকে দেখান বিদ্যুৎ, ভয় ও ভরসার জন্যে এবং আকাশ থেকে পানি বর্ষণ করেন, অতঃপর তদ্দ্বারা ভূমির মৃত্যুর পর তাকে পুনরুজ্জীবিত করেন। নিশ্চয় এতে বুদ্ধিমান লোকদের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।”

“اور اسی کے نشانات (اور تصرفات) میں سے ہے کہ تم کو خوف اور اُمید دلانے کے لئے بجلی دکھاتا ہے اور آسمان سے مینھہ برساتا ہے۔ پھر زمین کو اس کے مر جانے کے بعد زندہ (و شاداب) کر دیتا ہے۔ عقل والوں کے لئے ان (باتوں) میں (بہت سی) نشانیاں ہیں”
