Surah Fussilat · Ayah 17

“And as for Thamud, We gave them guidance, but they preferred blindness to the guidance, so the bolt of the doom of humiliation overtook them because of what they used to earn.”

“As to the Thamud, We gave them Guidance, but they preferred blindness (of heart) to Guidance: so the stunning Punishment of humiliation seized them, because of what they had earned.”

“And as for Thamud, We guided them, but they preferred blindness over guidance, so the thunderbolt of humiliating punishment seized them for what they used to earn.”

“আর যারা সামূদ, আমি তাদেরকে প্রদর্শন করেছিলাম, অতঃপর তারা সৎপথের পরিবর্তে অন্ধ থাকাই পছন্দ করল। অতঃপর তাদের কৃতকর্মের কারণে তাদেরকে অবমাননাকর আযাবের বিপদ এসে ধৃত করল।”

“اور جو ثمود تھے ان کو ہم نے سیدھا رستہ دکھا دیا تھا مگر انہوں نے ہدایت کے مقابلے میں اندھا دھند رہنا پسند کیا تو ان کے اعمال کی سزا میں کڑک نے ان کو آپکڑا۔ اور وہ ذلت کا عذاب تھا”
