Today’s verse
Surah Fussilat · Ayah 6
makki
قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ بَشَرٌۭ مِّثْلُكُمْ يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ أَنَّمَآ إِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌۭ وَٰحِدٌۭ فَٱسْتَقِيمُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ وَٱسْتَغْفِرُوهُ ۗ وَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلْمُشْرِكِينَ
Qul innamaaa ana basharum mislukum yoohaaa ilaiya annamaaa ilaahukum Ilaahunw Waahidun fastaqeemooo ilaihi wastagfirooh; wa wailul lil mushrikeen
“Say (unto them O Muhammad): I am only a mortal like you. It is inspired in me that your Allah is One Allah, therefor take the straight path unto Him and seek forgiveness of Him. And woe unto the idolaters,”
“Say thou: "I am but a man like you: It is revealed to me by Inspiration, that your Allah is one Allah: so stand true to Him, and ask for His Forgiveness." And woe to those who join gods with Allah,-”
“Say, O [Muhammad], "I am only a man like you to whom it has been revealed that your god is but one God; so take a straight course to Him and seek His forgiveness." And woe to those who associate others with Allah -”
“বলুন, আমিও তোমাদের মতই মানুষ, আমার প্রতি ওহী আসে যে, তোমাদের মাবুদ একমাত্র মাবুদ, অতএব তাঁর দিকেই সোজা হয়ে থাক এবং তাঁর কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা কর। আর মুশরিকদের জন্যে রয়েছে দুর্ভোগ,”
“کہہ دو کہ میں بھی آدمی ہوں جیسے تم۔ (ہاں) مجھ پر یہ وحی آتی ہے کہ تمہارا معبود خدائے واحد ہے تو سیدھے اسی کی طرف (متوجہ) رہو اور اسی سے مغفرت مانگو اور مشرکوں پر افسوس ہے”
