Surah Al-Jathiyah · Ayah 24

“And they say: There is naught but our life of the world; we die and we live, and naught destroyeth us save time; when they have no knowledge whatsoever of (all) that; they do but guess.”

“And they say: "What is there but our life in this world? We shall die and we live, and nothing but time can destroy us." But of that they have no knowledge: they merely conjecture:”

“And they say, "There is not but our worldly life; we die and live, and nothing destroys us except time." And they have of that no knowledge; they are only assuming.”

“তারা বলে, আমাদের পার্থিব জীবনই তো শেষ; আমরা মরি ও বাঁচি মহাকালই আমাদেরকে ধ্বংস করে। তাদের কাছে এ ব্যাপারে কোন জ্ঞান নেই। তারা কেবল অনুমান করে কথা বলে।”

“اور کہتے ہیں کہ ہماری زندگی تو صرف دنیا ہی کی ہے کہ (یہیں) مرتے اور جیتے ہیں اور ہمیں تو زمانہ مار دیتا ہے۔ اور ان کو اس کا کچھ علم نہیں۔ صرف ظن سے کام لیتے ہیں”
