Surah Al-Ahqaf · Ayah 18

“Such are those on whom the Word concerning nations of the jinn and mankind which have passed away before them hath effect. Lo! they are the losers.”

“Such are they against whom is proved the sentence among the previous generations of Jinns and men, that have passed away; for they will be (utterly) lost.”

“Those are the ones upon whom the word has come into effect, [who will be] among nations which had passed on before them of jinn and men. Indeed, they [all] were losers.”

“তাদের পূর্বে যে সব জ্বিন ও মানুষ গত হয়েছে, তাদের মধ্যে এ ধরনের লোকদের প্রতিও শাস্তিবানী অবধারিত হয়ে গেছে। নিশ্চয় তারা ছিল ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ।”

“یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جن کے بارے میں جنوں اور انسانوں کی (دوسری) اُمتوں میں سے جو ان سے پہلے گزر چکیں عذاب کا وعدہ متحقق ہوگیا۔ بےشک وہ نقصان اٹھانے والے تھے”
