Surah Al-Maidah · Ayah 19

“O People of the Scripture! Now hath Our messenger come unto you to make things plain unto you after an interval (of cessation) of the messengers, lest ye should say: There came not unto us a messenger of cheer nor any warner. Now hath a messenger of cheer and a warner come unto you. Allah is Able to do all things.”

“O People of the Book! Now hath come unto you, making (things) clear unto you, Our Messenger, after the break in (the series of) our messengers, lest ye should say: "There came unto us no bringer of glad tidings and no warner (from evil)": But now hath come unto you a bringer of glad tidings and a warner (from evil). And Allah hath power over all things.”

“O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger to make clear to you [the religion] after a period [of suspension] of messengers, lest you say, "There came not to us any bringer of good tidings or a warner." But there has come to you a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And Allah is over all things competent.”

“হে আহলে-কিতাবগণ! তোমাদের কাছে আমার রসূল আগমণ করেছেন, যিনি পয়গম্বরদের বিরতির পর তোমাদের কাছে পুঙ্খানুপুঙ্খ বর্ণনা করেন-যাতে তোমরা একথা বলতে না পার যে, আমাদের কাছে কোন সুসংবাদদাতা ও ভীতিপ্রদর্শক আগমন করে নি। অতএব, তোমাদের কাছে সুসংবাদদাতা ও ভীতি প্রদর্শক আগমন করেননি। অতএব, তোমাদের কাছে সুসংবাদদাতা ও ভয় প্রদর্শক এসে গেছেন। আল্লাহ সবকিছুর উপর শক্তিমান।”

“اے اہلِ کتاب پیغمبروں کے آنے کا سلسلہ جو (ایک عرصے تک) منقطع رہا تو (اب) تمہارے پاس ہمارے پیغمبر آ گئے ہیں جو تم سے (ہمارے احکام) بیان کرتے ہیں تاکہ تم یہ نہ کہو کہ ہمارے پاس کوئی خوشخبری یا ڈر سنانے والا نہیں آیا سو (اب) تمہارے پاس خوشخبری اور ڈر سنانے والے آ گئے ہیں اور خدا ہر چیز پر قادر ہے”
