Surah Al-Maidah · Ayah 24

“They said: O Moses! We will never enter (the land) while they are in it. So go thou and thy Lord and fight! We will sit here.”

“They said: "O Moses! while they remain there, never shall we be able to enter, to the end of time. Go thou, and thy Lord, and fight ye two, while we sit here (and watch)."”

“They said, "O Moses, indeed we will not enter it, ever, as long as they are within it; so go, you and your Lord, and fight. Indeed, we are remaining right here."”

“তারা বললঃ হে মূসা, আমরা জীবনেও কখনো সেখানে যাব না, যতক্ষণ তারা সেখানে থাকবে। অতএব, আপনি ও আপনার পালনকর্তাই যান এবং উভয়ে যুদ্ধ করে নিন। আমরা তো এখানেই বসলাম।”

“وہ بولے کہ موسیٰ! جب تک وہ لوگ وہاں ہیں ہم کبھی وہاں نہیں جا سکتے (اگر لڑنا ہی ضرور ہے) تو تم اور تمہارا خدا جاؤ اور لڑو ہم یہیں بیٹھے رہیں گے”
