Surah Al-Maidah · Ayah 94

“O ye who believe! Allah will surely try you somewhat (in the matter) of the game which ye take with your hands and your spears, that Allah may know him who feareth Him in secret. Whoso transgresseth after this, for him there is a painful doom.”

“O ye who believe! Allah doth but make a trial of you in a little matter of game well within reach of game well within reach of your hands and your lances, that He may test who feareth him unseen: any who transgress thereafter, will have a grievous penalty.”

“O you who have believed, Allah will surely test you through something of the game that your hands and spears [can] reach, that Allah may make evident those who fear Him unseen. And whoever transgresses after that - for him is a painful punishment.”

“হে মুমিনগণ, আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে এমন কিছু শিকারের মাধ্যমে পরীক্ষা করবেন, যে শিকার পর্যন্ত তোমাদের হাত ও বর্শা সহজেই পৌছতে পারবে-যাতে আল্লাহ বুঝতে পারেন যে, কে তাকে অদৃশ্যভাবে ভয়করে। অতএব, যে ব্যক্তি এরপর সীমা অতিক্রম করবে, তার জন্য যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শাস্তি রয়েছে।”

“مومنو! کسی قدر شکار سے جن کو تم ہاتھوں اور نیزوں سے پکڑ سکو خدا تمہاری آزمائش کرے گا (یعنی حالت احرام میں شکار کی ممانعت سے) تا کہ معلوم کرے کہ اس سے غائبانہ کون ڈرتا ہے تو جو اس کے بعد زیادتی کرے اس کے لیے دکھ دینے والا عذاب (تیار) ہے”
