Today’s verse
Surah Al-Mumtahanah · Ayah 6
madani
لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِيهِمْ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌۭ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرْجُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلْيَوْمَ ٱلْءَاخِرَ ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْغَنِىُّ ٱلْحَمِيدُ
Laqad kaana lakum feehim uswatunhasanatul liman kaana yarjul laaha wal yawmal aakhir; wa many yatawalla fa innal laaha huwal ghaniyyul hameed
“Verily ye have in them a goodly pattern for everyone who looketh to Allah and the Last Day. And whosoever may turn away, lo! still Allah, He is the Absolute, the Owner of Praise.”
“There was indeed in them an excellent example for you to follow,- for those whose hope is in Allah and in the Last Day. But if any turn away, truly Allah is Free of all Wants, Worthy of all Praise.”
“There has certainly been for you in them an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day. And whoever turns away - then indeed, Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.”
“তোমরা যারা আল্লাহ ও পরকাল প্রত্যাশা কর, তোমাদের জন্য তাদের মধ্যে উত্তম আদর্শ রয়েছে। আর যে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তার জানা উচিত যে, আল্লাহ বেপরওয়া, প্রশংসার মালিক।”
“تم (مسلمانوں) کو یعنی جو کوئی خدا (کے سامنے جانے) اور روز آخرت (کے آنے) کی امید رکھتا ہو اسے ان لوگوں کی نیک چال چلنی (ضرور) ہے۔ اور روگردانی کرے تو خدا بھی بےپرواہ اور سزاوار حمد (وثنا) ہے”
