Today’s verse
Surah Muhammad · Ayah 36
madani
إِنَّمَا ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا لَعِبٌ وَلَهْوٌ وَإِن تُؤْمِنُوا۟ وَتَتَّقُوا۟ يُؤْتِكُمْ أُجُورَكُمْ وَلَا يَسْـَٔلْكُمْ أَمْوَٰلَكُمْ
“The life of the world is but a sport and a pastime. And if ye believe and ward off (evil). He will give you your wages, and will not ask of you your wordly wealth.”
“The life of this world is but play and amusement: and if ye believe and guard against Evil, He will grant you your recompense, and will not ask you (to give up) your possessions.”
“[This] worldly life is only amusement and diversion. And if you believe and fear Allah, He will give you your rewards and not ask you for your properties.”
“পার্থিব জীবন তো কেবল খেলাধুলা, যদি তোমরা বিশ্বাসী হও এবং সংযম অবলম্বন কর, আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের প্রতিদান দেবেন এবং তিনি তোমাদের ধন-সম্পদ চাইবেন না।”
“دنیا کی زندگی تو محض کھیل اور تماشا ہے۔ اور اگر تم ایمان لاؤ گے اور پرہیزگاری کرو گے تو وہ تم کو تمہارا اجر دے گا۔ اور تم سے تمہارا مال طلب نہیں کرے گا”
