- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 16Nay! For lo! he hath been stubborn to Our revelations.
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 17On him I shall impose a fearful doom.
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 18For lo! he did consider; then he planned -
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 19(Self-)destroyed is he, how he planned!
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 20Again (self-)destroyed is he, how he planned! -
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 21Then looked he,
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 22Then frowned he and showed displeasure.
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 23Then turned he away in pride
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 24And said: This is naught else than magic from of old;
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 25This is naught else than speech of mortal man.
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 26Him shall I fling unto the burning.
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 27- Ah, what will convey unto thee what that burning is! -
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 28It leaveth naught; it spareth naught
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 29It shrivelleth the man.
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 30Above it are nineteen.
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 31We have appointed only angels to be wardens of the Fire, and their number have We made to be a stumbling-block for those who disbelieve; that those to whom the Scripture hath been given may have certainty, and that believers may increase in faith; and that those to whom the Scripture hath been given and believers may not doubt; and that those in whose hearts there is disease, and disbelievers, may say: What meaneth Allah by this similitude? Thus Allah sendeth astray whom He will, and whom He will He guideth. None knoweth the hosts of thy Lord save Him. This is naught else than a Reminder unto mortals.

- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 33And the night when it withdraweth
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 34And the dawn when it shineth forth,
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 35Lo! this is one of the greatest (portents)
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 36As a warning unto men,
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 37Unto him of you who will advance or hang back.

- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 42What hath brought you to this burning?
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 43They will answer: We were not of those who prayed
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 44Nor did we feed the wretched.
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 45We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders,
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 46And we used to deny the Day of Judgment,
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 47Till the Inevitable came unto us.
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 48The mediation of no mediators will avail them then.
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 49Why now turn they away from the Admonishment,
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 50As they were frightened asses
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 51Fleeing from a lion?
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 52Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah).
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 53Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter.
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 54Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment.
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 55So whosoever will may heed.
- Surah Al-Muddaththir · 56And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy.
