123 verses

  1. Surah An-Nisa · 9And let those fear (in their behaviour toward orphans) who if they left behind them weak offspring would be afraid for them. So let them mind their duty to Allah, and speak justly.
  2. Surah Al-Maidah · 2O ye who believe! Profane not Allah's monuments nor the Sacred Month nor the offerings nor the garlands, nor those repairing to the Sacred House, seeking the grace and pleasure of their Lord. But when ye have left the sacred territory, then go hunting (if ye will). And let not your hatred of a folk who (once) stopped your going to the inviolable place of worship seduce you to transgress; but help ye one another unto righteousness and pious duty. Help not one another unto sin and transgression, but keep your duty to Allah. Lo! Allah is severe in punishment.
  3. Surah Al-Maidah · 15O People of the Scripture! Now hath Our messenger come unto you, expounding unto you much of that which ye used to hide in the Scripture, and forgiving much. now hath come unto you light from Allah and plain Scripture,
  4. Surah Al-Araf · 12He said: What hindered thee that thou didst not fall prostrate when I bade thee? (Iblis) said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire while him Thou didst create of mud.
  5. Surah At-Tawbah · 5Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
  6. Surah At-Tawbah · 6And if anyone of the idolaters seeketh thy protection (O Muhammad), then protect him so that he may hear the Word of Allah, and afterward convey him to his place of safety. That is because they are a folk who know not.
  7. Surah At-Tawbah · 10And they observe toward a believer neither pact nor honour. These are they who are transgressors.
  8. Surah Hud · 1Alif. Lam. Ra. (This is) a Scripture the revelations whereof are perfected and then expounded. (It cometh) from One Wise, Informed,
  9. Surah Hud · 3And (bidding you): Ask pardon of your Lord and turn to Him repentant. He will cause you to enjoy a fair estate until a time appointed. He giveth His bounty unto every bountiful one. But if ye turn away, lo! (then) I fear for you the retribution of an awful Day.
  10. Surah Hud · 4Unto Allah is your return, and He is Able to do all things.
  11. Surah Hud · 8And if We delay for them the doom until a reckoned time, they will surely say: What withholdeth it? Verily on the day when it cometh unto them, it cannot be averted from them, and that which they derided will surround them.
  12. Surah Yusuf · 13He said: Lo! in truth it saddens me that ye should take him with you, and I fear less the wolf devour him while ye are heedless of him.
  13. Surah Ar-Rad · 7Those who disbelieve say: If only some portent were sent down upon him from his Lord! Thou art a warner only, and for every folk a guide.
  14. Surah Ibrahim · 12How should we not put our trust in Allah when He hath shown us our ways? We surely will endure the hurt ye do us. In Allah let the trusting put their trust.
  15. Surah An-Nahl · 8And horses and mules and asses (hath He created) that ye may ride them, and for ornament. And He createth that which ye know not.
  16. Surah Al-Isra · 2We gave unto Moses the Scripture, and We appointed it a guidance for the children of Israel, saying: Choose no guardian beside Me.
  17. Surah Al-Isra · 12And We appoint the night and the day two portents. Then We make dark the portent of the night, and We make the portent of the day sight-giving, that ye may seek bounty from your Lord, and that ye may know the computation of the years, and the reckoning; and everything have We expounded with a clear expounding.
  18. Surah Maryam · 8He said: My Lord! How can I have a son when my wife is barren and I have reached infirm old age?
  19. Surah Ta Ha · 12Lo! I, even I, am thy Lord, So take off thy shoes, for lo! thou art in the holy valley of Tuwa.
  20. Surah Al-Anbiya · 4He saith: My Lord knoweth what is spoken in the heaven and the earth. He is the Hearer, the Knower.
  21. Surah Al-Anbiya · 5Nay, say they, (these are but) muddled dreams; nay, he hath but invented it; nay, he is but a poet. Let him bring us a portent even as those of old (who were Allah's messengers) were sent (with portents).
  22. Surah Al-Hajj · 8And among mankind is he who disputeth concerning Allah without knowledge or guidance or a scripture giving light,
  23. Surah Al-Muminun · 2Who are humble in their prayers,
  24. Surah Al-Muminun · 4And who are payers of the poor-due;
  25. Surah Al-Muminun · 13Then placed him as a drop (of seed) in a safe lodging;
  26. Surah Al-Furqan · 6Say (unto them, O Muhammad): He who knoweth the secret of the heavens and the earth hath revealed it. Lo! He ever is Forgiving, Merciful.
  27. Surah Al-Furqan · 8Or (why is not) treasure thrown down unto him, or why hath he not a paradise from whence to eat? And the evil-doers say: Ye are but following a man bewitched.
  28. Surah Ash-Shuara · 12He said: My Lord! Lo! I fear that they will deny me,
  29. Surah Al-Qasas · 8And the family of Pharaoh took him up, that he might become for them an enemy and a sorrow, Lo! Pharaoh and Haman and their hosts were ever sinning.
  30. Surah Al-Ankabut · 2Do men imagine that they will be left (at ease) because they say, We believe, and will not be tested with affliction?
  31. Surah Al-Ankabut · 12Those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Follow our way (of religion) and we verily will bear your sins (for you). They cannot bear aught of their sins. Lo! they verily are liars.
  32. Surah Luqman · 8Lo! those who believe and do good works, for them are the gardens of delight,
  33. Surah As-Sajdah · 12Couldst thou but see when the guilty hang their heads before their Lord, (and say): Our Lord! We have now seen and heard, so send us back; we will do right, now we are sure.
  34. Surah Al-Ahzab · 4Allah hath not assigned unto any man two hearts within his body, nor hath He made your wives whom ye declare (to be your mothers) your mothers, nor hath He made those whom ye claim (to be your sons) your sons. This is but a saying of your mouths. But Allah saith the truth and He showeth the way.
  35. Surah Al-Ahzab · 5Proclaim their real parentage. That will be more equitable in the sight of Allah. And if ye know not their fathers, then (they are) your brethren in the faith, and your clients. And there is no sin for you in the mistakes that ye make unintentionally, but what your hearts purpose (that will be a sin for you). Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.
  36. Surah Saba · 8Hath he invented a lie concerning Allah, or is there in him a madness? Nay, but those who disbelieve in the Hereafter are in torment and far error.
  37. Surah Fatir · 1Praise be to Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, Who appointeth the angels messengers having wings two, three and four. He multiplieth in creation what He will. Lo! Allah is Able to do all things.
  38. Surah Fatir · 3O mankind! Remember Allah's grace toward you! Is there any creator other than Allah who provideth for you from the sky and the earth? There is no Allah save Him. Whither then are ye turned?
  39. Surah Fatir · 12And the two seas are not alike: this, fresh, sweet, good to drink, this (other) bitter, salt. And from them both ye eat fresh meat and derive the ornament that ye wear. And thou seest the ship cleaving them with its prow that ye may seek of His bounty, and that haply ye may give thanks.
  40. Surah As-Saffat · 6Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets;

  45. Surah Fussilat · 12Then He ordained them seven heavens in two Days and inspired in each heaven its mandate; and We decked the nether heaven with lamps, and rendered it inviolable. That is the measuring of the Mighty, the Knower.
  46. Surah Az-Zukhruf · 8Then We destroyed men mightier than these in prowess; and the example of the men of old hath gone (before them).
  47. Surah Ad-Dukhan · 12(Then they will say): Our Lord relieve us of the torment. Lo! we are believers.
  48. Surah Al-Jathiyah · 4And in your creation, and all the beasts that He scattereth in the earth, are portents for a folk whose faith is sure.
  49. Surah Al-Jathiyah · 5And the difference of night and day and the provision that Allah sendeth down from the sky and thereby quickeneth the earth after her death, and the ordering of the winds, are portents for a people who have sense.
  50. Surah Al-Jathiyah · 15Whoso doeth right, it is for his soul, and whoso doeth wrong, it is against it. And afterward unto your Lord ye will be brought back.
  51. Surah Muhammad · 1Those who disbelieve and turn (men) from the way of Allah, He rendereth their actions vain.
  52. Surah Muhammad · 3That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood and because those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Thus Allah coineth their similitudes for mankind.
  53. Surah Muhammad · 9That is because they are averse to that which Allah hath revealed, therefor maketh He their actions fruitless.
  54. Surah Al-Fath · 12Nay, but ye deemed that the messenger and the believers would never return to their own folk, and that was made fairseeming in your hearts, and ye did think an evil thought, and ye were worthless folk.
  55. Surah Al-Hujurat · 15The (true) believers are those only who believe in Allah and His messenger and afterward doubt not, but strive with their wealth and their lives for the cause of Allah. Such are the sincere.
  56. Surah Adh-Dhariyat · 8Lo! ye, forsooth, are of various opinion (concerning the truth).
  57. Surah Adh-Dhariyat · 56I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me.
  58. Surah At-Tur · 11Then woe that day unto the deniers
  59. Surah An-Najm · 2Your comrade erreth not, nor is deceived;
  60. Surah An-Najm · 14By the lote-tree of the utmost boundary,
  61. Surah An-Najm · 39And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort,

And Allah is Seer of what ye do.
  65. Surah Al-Hadid · 5His is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, and unto Allah (all) things are brought back.
  66. Surah Al-Hadid · 14They will cry unto them (saying): Were we not with you? They will say: Yea, verily; but ye tempted one another, and hesitated, and doubted, and vain desires beguiled you till the ordinance of Allah came to pass; and the deceiver deceived you concerning Allah;
  67. Surah Al-Hashr · 1All that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth glorifieth Allah, and He is the Mighty, the Wise.
  68. Surah Al-Hashr · 3And if Allah had not decreed migration for them, He verily would have punished them in the world, and theirs in the Hereafter is the punishment of the Fire.
  69. Surah Al-Hashr · 8And (it is) for the poor fugitives who have been driven out from their homes and their belongings, who seek bounty from Allah and help Allah and His messenger. They are the loyal.
  70. Surah Al-Mumtahanah · 12O Prophet! If believing women come unto thee, taking oath of allegiance unto thee that they will ascribe no thing as partner unto Allah, and will neither steal nor commit adultery nor kill their children, nor produce any lie that they have devised between their hands and feet, nor disobey thee in what is right, then accept their allegiance and ask Allah to forgive them. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
  71. Surah Al-Jumuah · 8Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Lo! the death from which ye shrink will surely meet you, and afterward ye will be returned unto the Knower of the Invisible and the Visible, and He will tell you what ye used to do.
  72. Surah At-Taghabun · 10But those who disbelieve and deny Our revelations, such are owners of the Fire; they will abide therein - a hapless journey's end!
  73. Surah At-Talaq · 2Then, when they have reached their term, take them back in kindness or part from them in kindness, and call to witness two just men among you, and keep your testimony upright for Allah. Whoso believeth in Allah and the Last Day is exhorted to act thus. And whosoever keepeth his duty to Allah, Allah will appoint a way out for him,
  74. Surah At-Tahrim · 8O ye who believe! Turn unto Allah in sincere repentance! It may be that your Lord will remit from you your evil deeds and bring you into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, on the day when Allah will not abase the Prophet and those who believe with him. Their light will run before them and on their right hands; they will say: Our Lord! Perfect our light for us, and forgive us! Lo! Thou art Able to do all things.
  75. Surah Al-Mulk · 2Who hath created life and death that He may try you which of you is best in conduct; and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving,
  76. Surah Al-Mulk · 14Should He not know what He created? And He is the Subtile, the Aware.
  77. Surah Al-Haqqah · 4(The tribes of) Thamud and A'ad disbelieved in the judgment to come.
  78. Surah Al-Haqqah · 5As for Thamud, they were destroyed by the lightning.
  79. Surah Al-Haqqah · 7Which He imposed on them for seven long nights and eight long days so that thou mightest have seen men lying overthrown, as they were hollow trunks of palm-trees.
  80. Surah Al-Maarij · 11Though they will be given sight of them. The guilty man will long to be able to ransom himself from the punishment of that day at the price of his children
